Whether you are a patient at a Memorial facility or are visiting a family member or loved one, we want you to have the best experience possible.

Updated Visiting Guidelines
Effective March 17, 2020

Visiting Guidelines, testing and elective procedures:

As the CoVid19 situation in our community continues to evolve, so is Memorial’s ongoing response to the spread of the illness. At the recommendation of the US Surgeon General,  beginning March 18, Memorial will cease elective surgeries. In addition:

  • Selected outpatient diagnostics and all outpatient lab work at the main campus of the hospital will be diverted to other Memorial locations.
  • All outpatient lab work will have to be done at one of the 3 diagnostic centers (Diamondhead, Acadian, Cedar Lake) or your provider’s office.
  • Most outpatient diagnostics from the main campus will be diverted to one of the three diagnostic centers.
  • If you are currently scheduled for an OP diagnostic test, Memorial may be calling you to reschedule your appointment.
  • Outpatient infusions will continue as scheduled at this time.

Visitation:
Beginning, Wednesday, March 18, No Visitors will be allowed to our facilities. Visiting exceptions may be made in certain circumstances including pediatric care, labor and delivery, end-of-life or essential caregivers.

Entrance:
There will be a single entrance to the hospital for non-emergent patients, which will be the 1stfloor parking garage and it will remain open 24 hours a day.

► Non-essential vendors will not be allowed entry. Essential vendors are those bringing necessary supplies for procedures.
► Patients and residents 65 and older are at high risk of illness because many have weakened immune systems which make them more susceptible to COVID-19. Therefore, No Visitors are allowed at our nursing homes:  Memorial Driftwood, Memorial Woodland Village and Memorial Stone County Rehabilitation and Nursing
