    GULFPORT, Miss. —Memorial Hospital at Gulfport has been designated as a STEMI Receiving Center by the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH). A  ST Elevated Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), is a type of severe heart attack that requires immediate intervention at a hospital with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
